There are two species of personal computers: portable computers and desktop PC's. The desktop PC usually is much more powerful than any kind of portable computer. Just laptops, tablet PC‘s and notebooks could be compared to desktop PC. They even have very similar specifications as a regular PC. Although even with very similar specifications portable variants are slightly less powerful. In addition, portability costs much more.
One of the biggest benefits of a desktop PC which portable variants don’t have is customization. It is easy to do inexpensive upgrades and tuning for desktop PC. Modification is also available.
If you don’t need high portability the choice is obvious.
